   Consider recommended Climate Action Plan (CAP) prioritized actions for implementation in 2023-2025

   The Richfield City Council work session was scheduled to consider eight priority actions from the city's Climate Action Plan (CAP) for implementation between 2023 and 2025. The agenda included discussion of focus areas such as municipal building energy audits, an Electric Vehicle Suitability Assessment for the city fleet, a coordinated public education campaign, and a community-wide tree canopy and ground cover study. The prioritized actions were developed through staff workshops and were intended to support broader goals of reducing greenhouse gas emissions to 169,000 metric tons by 2030, consistent with IPCC recommendations.
