   Lowering speed limits on Hennepin County roads running through Richfield was scheduled for discussion and direction at the November 26 work session. Staff was expected to present options for specific county road segments — including 66th Street, Portland Avenue, Nicollet Avenue, and Penn Avenue — and seek council guidance on which roads to formally request speed limit reductions on. This follows the city's 2023–2024 effort to lower residential road speeds to 25 mph and a December 2023 reduction on 76th/77th Streets.
