   Welcome Councilmembers-Elect

   Mayor Supple opened the January 7, 2025 work session at 5:45 PM in the Bartholomew Room and formally welcomed the two incoming councilmembers-elect, Walter Burk and Rori A. Coleman-Woods. The session provided an opportunity for new members to meet city leadership ahead of taking office. The meeting was adjourned by unanimous consent at 6:45 PM.

   Council and Staff Introductions

   Council members, councilmembers-elect, and senior city staff introduced themselves and provided an overview of their respective roles and responsibilities within the city. Department heads present included leaders from Public Works, Community Development, Recreation, Fire, Public Safety, and City Administration. This orientation session was designed to help incoming councilmembers Walter Burk and Rori A. Coleman-Woods understand the structure and functions of city government.
