   Discussion with Legislators

   A special work session was scheduled at Wood Lake Nature Center where the Richfield City Council and city staff were expected to meet with local legislators to discuss matters of mutual interest to the city. Attendees on the legislative side were expected to include State Representative Michael Howard (District 50A), Metropolitan Council Representative Molly Cummings (District 5), Hennepin County Commissioner Debbie Goettel (District 5), ISD 280 Superintendent Steve Unowsky, and representatives from the offices of Congresswoman Ilhan Omar and Senator Tina Smith. This session was informational in nature, providing an opportunity for intergovernmental dialogue rather than formal votes or policy decisions.
