   The City Council held a work session to review the proposed 2023 legislative platform, with discussion centered on three top priorities: seeking state bonding support for Wood Lake Nature Center improvements, pursuing legislative authority to place a local sales tax for regionally significant park projects before voters, and supporting local control of Emergency Medical Services. Council members generally expressed support for the proposed priorities and the updated legislative-priorities process. The council also discussed additional platform items, including remote or hybrid meeting flexibility, THC regulation language, PTSD presumption and employee support issues, and potential future I-494 matters.    Directed staff to revise THC legislative language to add city consultation

   During discussion of the draft legislative platform, Council Member Hayford Oleary requested that the THC regulation position be revised to add the words "in consultation with" so cities would have a clearer role in future state legislation on THC and cannabinoid products. Staff supported that change as part of the platform refinement process.
